An agile, fully adjustable wheelchair with excellent propulsion to take you even further. Sophisticated technology and high-performance 7000-series aluminium alloy give the Helio A7 unparalleled manoeuvrability and lightness.

Motion Composite-Logo

By combining the latest hydroforming technologies with an aluminium alloy known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, Motion Composites has created one of the lightest folding aluminium chairs on the market. Each HELIO A7 accessory and component was designed to reduce weight as much as possible for highly reactive handling.

Ease of propulsion is a definite plus and, with the HELIO A7, you’ll enjoy remarkable agility. The completely symmetrical hydroformed cross-brace, oval tubing and pivot axles work together while the unique folding system maximises the frame’s stability, saving you considerable energy daily.

HELIO A7 is a fully adjustable wheelchair. Maximising stability and reactivity, the forged vertical axle plate offers the industry’s most precise rear wheel adjustability. The composite armrests quickly convert from flip-back to single post for easy configuration. Height can also be adjusted with the flick of a finger.

The frame’s innovative design allows you to achieve a super-low 12-inch (30.5-cm) front seat-to-floor height. In addition to more accessible contact with the floor, this feature provides better foot propulsion. Or, move it beyond 20 inches (50.8 cm) to meet your most challenging needs.

Reinforced Back-Cane Support

For added stability and comfort.

Rigid Unibody Frame

A unibody frame is much stronger and requires less maintenance than a standard two-part frame. It also reduces weight while maximising propulsion efficiency.

Ultra Rigid Folding System

High-precision tolerances and oversized pivot axles for best-in-class propulsion efficiency.

Aluminium Seat Rail

With integrated seat slider for better seat sling support.

Hybrid Frame Design

Eliminates the need for both hemi and standard frames while providing a complete range of seat-to-floor heights.

Anti-Flutter Caster

Minimise flutter with a simple twist of a screw. Provides a smooth, more efficient ride.

Evolve Caster Housing

Integrated into the frame for rock-solid durability, the Evolve caster housing offers easy and precise infinite adjustments.

An aluminium alloy renowned for its high strength-to-weight ratio.

Entirely symmetrical aluminium cross brace for reduced torsion and better energy distribution throughout the frame.

Offers the industry’s most precise rear wheel adjustability. The vertical mounting maximises stability and responsiveness.

Easy to adjust and made of composite materials for strength and reduced weight. It is the only armrest that converts flip-back to a single post without tools.

Parts and accessories are designed to be lighter with improved functionality.
