Recare reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice and all such changes will take effect when posted on this website. By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these terms, then you should contact us before placing an order. Ways to contact us are displayed on the Contact Us page of the Site.
You can place an order:
By post Your order should be accompanied by a cheque for the full payment.
By email When ordering by email you must forward a cheque for your payment separately.
Where your payment is by cheque please be aware that we cannot despatch your goods until your cheque has cleared.
We endeavour to despatch goods as quickly as possible and you will be advised of the estimated delivery time after ordering. If you require any items by a specific date this must be made clear when ordering.
Prices and VAT
Prices are in Pounds Sterling and all purchases must be made in Pounds Sterling.
Customers who are eligible for VAT exemption will normally be able to purchase the majority of the items available from Recare VAT free. When ordering online, VAT will be calculated during the checkout process according to your VAT exemption status. When ordering by telephone or email you will be advised of the total cost, including VAT, before the goods are despatch.
To ensure that we are able to provide items at the VAT exempt price you will need to either declare that you are eligible for VAT exemption (if ordering online) or complete a declaration form which must be signed and returned to us.
Returns and Refunds
Items that are not of a personal nature and that have not been custom-made or customised to your requirements can be returned for exchange or a refund within 7 days of receipt. Any costs involved in returning any products will be met by you, unless the items are damaged or faulty when received.
The items must be returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and in the original packaging.
For hygiene reasons, items that are of a personal nature cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty.
Items that are custom made or otherwise customised cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty.
Postage, packaging, or any other shipping fees are not refundable unless the item is being returned because it is faulty.
Faulty or damaged goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt, complete and, wherever possible, with the original packaging. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty or damaged if reasonable care of the product has not been taken, or where instructions relating to the use of the product have not been followed or where the damage caused to the product is due to wear and tear or misuse.
Refunds for approved returns will be provided to you by cheque or credit card refund.
To return any products to us, please clearly indicate whether you would like a refund or exchange.
Nothing in these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Warranties and Guarantees
Unless otherwise stated, products purchased from Recare are guaranteed for a period of 1 year. This excludes items of a consumable or disposable nature, or items that would reasonably be expected to have a limited life.
Recare operate an Engineer Service within a 100 miles radius of our OX29 postcode. Outside of this distance we are happy to work with our clients on a return to base condition. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
Recare will be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these terms and conditions if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.
