Active and Independent Mobility

The wheelchairs in the kidevo Family promote active and independent mobility of your child. This includes practical transfer handles to help transfer your child from their wheelchair to a car, bed, or lounge chair and steering aids that ensure full control when steering with only one hand, making driving and manoeuvring easier.

Extensive Seat Tilt

The kidevo prime.t and kidevo mini.t have an extensive tilt mechanism that works without a gas spring. This reduces weight and cuts down on time-consuming repairs, which means the wheelchair’s centre of gravity remains unaffected by the extent of the tilting, allowing for constant stability. The tilt mechanism allows you to shift your child’s weight, reducing their risk of developing a pressure injury.

Practical Mud Cruiser

Mini.t

This active wheelchair is designed so your child can sit comfortably, have excellent support, and explore the world around them.  The tilt is easy to use with a tilt of up to 40°, with the centre of gravity unaffected by the tilting, providing excellent stability.

Prime

This wheelchair is a reliable all-rounder.  This chair has a modular design and can be easily dismantled to allow for easy storage or transport in the boot of a vehicle.  It can be fully adjusted to suit your child’s needs and grow with them in width, depth, and height.

Prime.t

This wheelchair has a practical tilting system that allows up to 50° of tilt, with the centre of gravity unaffected and the wheelchair staying completely stable.  This wheelchair also can grow with your child.

kidevo adapt Custom Seating Base for Seating Shells

The kidevo Family also includes the adapt mobility base, which is suitably named because that is exactly what it does: adapt to your child’s needs. Designed to accommodate custom seating shells, the mobility base is available in three sizes (the seat width can also be increased by up to 10 cm) and is fully adjustable as your child grows.

As with all wheelchairs in the kidevo Family, the adapt helps promote active and independent mobility. It is easily driveable and manoeuvrable for children who self-propel, while push bars are available for attendant driving when needed. The functional seat tilt from -10° to 50° helps to facilitate different positions; shifting weight reduces the risk of injury.

The adapt features numerous adjustment options, helping to make the wheelbase fully adaptable to your child’s needs.
