Navigating challenging terrain with ease

OMOBIC Buddy wheel is precisely engineered to navigate challenging terrain with ease. It keeps the overall size as compact as possible, and an offset hub provides clearance from the chairside, facilitating manoeuvrability in tight spaces.

Equipped with a 24″ x 2″ (50-507) Schwalbe Big Apple tyre, it offers a large contact area ideal for soft terrain like grass, gravel and sand.

The smooth tread allows for a reasonably high rolling resistance when self-propelling, making the OMOBIC Buddy a perfect partner for front-end third-wheel attachments.

Complete with a black anodised hand rim and 1/2″ bearing as standard.  A 12mm bearing version is available upon request.

Regular maintenance is essential to keep your wheelchair performing at its best. By following this simple checklist, you can extend the life of your wheelchair and ensure your safety and comfort.

Daily Checks

  • Ensure the wheelchair rolls without resistance.
  • Check for vibrations, unusual noises, or any changes you notice.
  • Confirm that the wheel locks are working correctly.
  • Check the tyres: low pressure, flat spots, or signs of wear.
  • Listen for irregular noises or rattles that may indicate loose components.

Weekly Checks

  • Check the fork bearings to confirm they are moving freely without stiffness.

Yearly Checks
